As a ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ alum, you can take advantage of our scholarships and grants to continue your education with an advanced degree. There are also scholarships available for graduates of American Career College. Explore the different opportunities!
Alumni Pathway Grant
Available for both ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ and ACC graduates, the Alumni Pathway Grant covers up to 20% of your tuition when you enroll in one of ºìÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s online programs. Additionally, if you enroll within six months of graduation, the grant covers an additional 5% for a total tuition reduction of 25%.

Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible for the Alumni Pathway Grant, you must:
- Meet all of ºìÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s admissions requirements
- Be admitted to the university for enrollment in an online degree program
- Have graduated from a program at either American Career College or ºìÌÒ´«Ã½
The Alumni Pathway Grant will automatically renew each year. The Alumni Pathway Grant may not be combined with any other ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ scholarships or grants except for the ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Health Services Partner Grant. There is no cash value to the grant. Students who withdraw prior to the end of a trimester will have their grant reduced proportionately to the percent of tuition earned.
ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Association Professional Development Scholarship
The ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Association Professional Development Scholarship provides financial assistance to ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ alumni who are expanding their education through continuing education units (CEUs), conferences, or other professional development opportunities in the healthcare or leadership fields. The scholarship provides up to $500 once per calendar year.
Application Information
Application Deadline:Â April 1st and October 1st
Recipients will be notified by after May 1 and November 1 and will be recognized via Alumni Association communications and events.
Award Amount: Up to $500 per recipient, once per calendar year. Awards will be paid directly to the recipient via check upon completion of CEU, conference, or seminar.
Application Submission Process: Applicants must submit the scholarship application via the online form. Below are the required documents that must accompany your application.

- Proof of attendance and payment confirmation (invoices/receipts):
- Reimbursable expenses include registration fee, hotel and/or airfare.

Eligibility Requirements
Must be a graduate (alumni) of ºìÌÒ´«Ã½.
- All majors are eligible.
- Conference, CEU or seminar must be completed within the 6 months prior to the application deadline (April 1 and October 1).
- If chosen, additional paperwork may be required.

ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Association Scholarship
The ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Association Scholarship was created to help provide financial assistance to ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ alumni who are enrolled in a graduate-level degree program at ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ or any accredited higher education institution. The scholarship provides $2,500-$5,000 per recipient, non-recurring.
For ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ students, funds will be sent directly to the school, and the school will apply the funds against the student’s existing tuition and fee charges for the upcoming term. For outside universities, funds will be sent directly to the institution’s financial aid office for the upcoming term.

Award Amount: Ranging from $2,500 – $5,000 each, non-recurring. For ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ students, funds will be sent directly to the school and the school will apply the funds against the student’s existing tuition and fee charges for the upcoming term. For outside universities, funds will be sent directly to the institution’s financial aid office for the upcoming term.
Application Submission Process: Applicants must submit the scholarship application via the online form. Below are the required documents that must accompany your application.

Eligibility Requirements
- Have graduated from a ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ degree program
- Be a full-time, degree-seeking graduate student at ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ or another institution accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education
- Have one full term remaining at the time of the application deadline (April 1 and October 1)
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for your current program at the time of application
- Complete any required paperwork if chosen
ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Proud Scholarship
The ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Proud Scholarship was created to help provide financial assistance toward the education of current ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ undergraduate and graduate students who have exemplified school spirit and are striving to be ahead of the curve.
The scholarship provides $1,000 per recipient, non-recurring. Funds will be sent directly to the school, and the school will apply the funds against the student’s existing tuition and fee charges for the upcoming term.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a full time, degree-seeking, undergraduate or graduate student of ºìÌÒ´«Ã½.
- Must have at least one full term remaining at the time of application deadline (April 1 and October 1).
- Student’s cumulative incoming GPA must be 3.0 or higher at time of application.
- All majors are eligible
- If a student is listed as a Leave of Absence (LOA) at the time of funding, funds will be retained for one additional full term before being remitted back to the ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Scholarship Fund. Applicants will be eligible to reapply for future scholarships.
- Should a student withdraw from the university during the term, unused funds will be remitted back to the ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
- If chosen, additional paperwork may be required.

Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship
The ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship was created to support a family tradition of ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni and provide financial assistance to current ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ undergraduate and graduate students who have a relative that is a ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni.
Application Requirements
Application Deadline: April 1 and October 1
Recipients will be notified after May 1 and November 1 and will be recognized via Alumni Association communications and events.
Award Amount: $1,500 each, non-recurring. Funds will be sent directly to the school and the school will apply the funds against the student’s existing tuition & fee charges for the upcoming term.

- One must be from an eligible ACC or ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni relative.

- Why is it important to continue the ACC or ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ legacy?

Eligibility Requirements
- Be a full time, degree-seeking, undergraduate or graduate student of American Career College or ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ or been accepted to an American Career College or ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ program.
- Student’s cumulative ACC or ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ GPA must be 3.0 or higher at time of application
- Must have at least one full term remaining at the time of application deadline (April 1 and October 1).
- Must have a family member who is a graduate (alumni) of American Career College or ºìÌÒ´«Ã½.
- All majors are eligible.
- Recipients are eligible for one scholarship, per year and degree program.
- If a student is listed as a Leave of Absence (LOA) at the time of funding, funds will be retained for one additional full term before being remitted back to the ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Scholarship Fund. Applicants will be eligible to reapply for future scholarships.
- Should a student withdraw from the university during the term, unused funds will be remitted back to the ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
- If chosen, additional paperwork may be required.

ACC Alumni Bridge Scholarship
The ACC Alumni Bridge Scholarship was created to provide financial assistance to American Career College Alumni who enroll in an On-Ground or Online Program at ºìÌÒ´«Ã½. The scholarship helps support a student’s career pathway and educational pursuits.
Application Information
Application Deadline: April 1 and October 1
Recipients will be notified after May 1 and November 1 and will be recognized via Alumni Association communications and events.
Award Amount: $1,500 per applicant, non-recurring. Funds will be sent directly to the school and the school will apply the funds against the student’s existing tuition & fee charges for the upcoming term.
Application Submission Process: Applicants must submit the scholarship application via the online form. Below are the required documents that must accompany your application.

- Be an ACC Graduate and a full time, degree-seeking candidate of ºìÌÒ´«Ã½.
- Student’s cumulative ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ GPA must be 3.0 or higher at time of application.
- All ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ programs are eligible.
- Recipients are eligible for one scholarship, per year and degree program.
- If a student is listed as a Leave of Absence (LOA) at the time of funding, funds will be retained for one additional full term before being remitted back to the ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Scholarship Fund. Applicants will be eligible to reapply for future scholarships.

ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Texas Proud Scholarship
The ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Texas Proud Scholarship helps provide financial assistance to WCU-Texas undergraduate students who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or LVN to BSN programs.
The scholarship provides $1,000 per recipient, non-recurring. Funds will be sent directly to the school, and the school will apply the funds against the student’s existing tuition and fee charges for the upcoming term.

Recipients will be notified after May 1 and November 1 and will be recognized via Alumni Association communications and events.

- Student’s cumulative ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ GPA must be 3.0 or higher at time of application.
- Recipients are eligible for one scholarship, per year and degree program.
- If a student is listed as a Leave of Absence (LOA) at the time of funding, funds will be retained for one additional full term before being remitted back to the ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Scholarship Fund. Applicants will be eligible to reapply for future scholarships.
- Should a student withdraw from the university during the term, unused funds will be remitted back to the ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.

The ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Sigma Theta Tau Scholarship was created to help provide financial assistance for ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ alumni pursing their graduate education and who are members of the ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Chi Beta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Recipients will be notified after May 1 and November 1 and will be recognized via Alumni Association communications and events.
Award Amount: $2,500 each, non-recurring. Funds will be sent directly to the school and the school will apply the funds against the student’s existing tuition & fee charges for the upcoming term.

Eligibility Requirements
- Be a full-time (6 semester units per semester/trimester), degree-seeking, graduate nursing student at ºìÌÒ´«Ã½.
- Must have at least one full term remaining at the time of application deadline (April 1 and October 1).
- Must be a dues paying member and be in good standing in the ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Chi Beta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International.
- Student’s cumulative GPA for the current program, must be 3.5 or higher at the time of application.
- Recipients are eligible for one scholarship, per year and degree program.
- If a student is listed as a Leave of Absence (LOA) via at the time of funding, funds will be retained for one additional full term before being remitted back to the ºìÌÒ´«Ã½ Alumni Scholarship. Applicants will be eligible to reapply for future scholarships.
